24/7, 12 month staffed residency ministry
ETDC is a Smoke Free-Cell Phone Free Discipleship Program.
No visits or phone calls for the first thirty days.

Introduction/Orientation - Review of ETDC rules and guidelines.
Celebrate Recovery —Spiritual 12 Steps
Learning the spiritual battle described in the Bible that all of us go through on a daily basis and how to conquer the flesh (our sin nature)
Battle Field of the Mind — How to gain control over your mind, recognize damaging thoughts and stop them, overcome bad attitudes and excuses, and be armed with the Word of God.- Materials used from Joyce Meyer Ministries.
Character Traits — Learning traits from the Bible on how they relate to each person.
Great Characters of the Bible- In depth study on the characters in the Bible.
Great Truth of the Bible- Learning about the truth of the Word of God.
Anger Management-- Dealing with Anger using the Bible to help us identify our areas that need submission to Jesus and learn how to walk in His love and not SIN in our anger.
Co-Dependency --This class addresses the person who has let another person's behavior affect him/her, and who is obsessed with controlling that person's behavior. The client learns to recognize this behavior and learns how to deal with it, whether the behavior is in them or their significant others.
Life Skills Training- Each client receives training in the areas of cooking, cleaning and managing a budget. These skills are taught in a class format and in a practical way, as each person is responsible for assigned chores. Everyday skills to better manage their life & their children's daily life.
Parenting Classes-- Nurturing children, Caring for your children, daily needs, food choices, healthy needs, etc.
Financial Class- Better management of their finances. Each client will be taught money management skills by completing a budget.
Life Management- Time management, balancing every day life. To learn to set boundaries.
Computer Skills- Basic computer skills.
Resume Writing & Interview Skills- To be successful at writing a resume & Job interviews.
Transition Skills- Relapse Prevention, To help them better at Transitioning back into society & the work place.
GED Classes- To successful pass the GED test.
Family Visitation- Allowing the families to visit with their loved ones and discussing ETDC rules for the visits and upcoming passes. The client also discusses their personal goals they are working on.
Fitness Education- Each Client is required to walk each day, weather permitting, as well as develop personal goals for a healthy diet and exercise plan.
Chores- The clients work with outside/inside in performing minor preventative maintenance task as well as cleaning.
Outreaches- Serving others, giving back to the community, Adopt A Blocks, Food Pantry, Clothing Ministry, Nursing Homes, Feeding the Homeless, Easter Event, Thanksgiving Event, Christmas Event.
